Whatâs up with the crazy-long lifespans in the Bible? What are we to think when we read that Adam lived to 930, Noah to 950, and Methuselah (the record-holder) to 969? How would that even work? The final plague was the death of the firstborn. This lead to the Passover â where the blood of a lamb (foreshadowing Jesus), painted on the Israelitesâ doorposts (an act of faith), spared the Israelites from judgement. Itâs a picture of how Christâs blood saves all who trust in Him!
